Her Trans Tech Social Enterprises provides the kind of support you’d expect from an old friend — everything you need. Her work is creating an essential space for new businesses and innovators, providing job training, vendor leads, and a complete suite of networking skills and services.

 

Angelica’s Bio:

From the board room, to film sets, to the White House, Angelica Ross is a leading figure of success and strength in the movement for trans and racial equality. Named, “1st Foot Soldier of the Year” in 2015 by Melissa Harris Perry, and a recent guest on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, Angelica Is the founder of TransTech Social Enterprises, a program that empowers trans and gender nonconforming people through co-working and co-learning community with a focus on leadership and workplace skills. Angelica tours nationally, speaking her powerful mission into action with business leaders, educators, and politicians.

Since studying theater at Florida Atlantic University, Angelica has been featured in film, television, and live theatre. Miss Ross is the breakout co-star of the Emmy nominated series Her Story, which explores the deeply moving lives and loves of two trans women in LA.  Angelica directly engaged communities in order to create opportunities for independence, freedom, and success through social work, entrepreneurial and leadership development, business building, and education.

Angelica continues to engage leaders both at home and abroad, teaching, entertaining, and consulting for organizational change that creates space for the rich experiences of trans people and people of color to speak, share their value, and create lasting success.

A devout buddhist, Angelica walks with compassion and believes that all people have worth — it is only a matter of helping each person find it for themselves.
